Clean, organized rack builds that your IT team can actually work with — documented and handed over properly.
A well-built rack is more than just organized — it saves time every single time someone has to work on it. When cables are labeled, patch cords are dressed, and the layout is documented, troubleshooting takes minutes instead of hours. At Ruvison, we build racks the right way from the start: methodical installation, consistent labeling, proper cable management, and a rack elevation diagram handed over at completion so your team knows exactly what they’re looking at.
From a single closet to a multi-site rollout, we build racks that your IT team can actually work with.
Clean rack build for client site — ready for IT team handoff.
Upgrade or reorganize a network closet inherited from a previous tenant.
MDF/IDF closet buildout as part of a new commercial build.
New office infrastructure — rack, patch panel, switch, access points.
Same rack layout and documentation standard deployed across every location.
We plan the layout before we start, build it methodically, and document everything at handoff.
We review the closet dimensions, confirm power and equipment requirements, and plan the rack layout before ordering anything. No surprises when we get on site.
Rack and hardware go in methodically — patch panels first, then switches, then cable management. Patch cords are dressed, color-coded, and labeled throughout. We don't move on until it looks right.
We provide a rack elevation diagram showing exactly what's in each rack unit, a cable schedule documenting every port and connection, and completion photos. Your IT team gets infrastructure they can immediately understand and work with.
Both options work. We can source and supply racks, patch panels, cable managers, and switches as part of the quote — or we can install equipment you’ve already procured. Just tell us your preference when you reach out.
Yes — that’s one of our most common jobs. We document what’s there, remove what’s dead, re-dress and re-label what’s active, and hand back a clean, documented rack. See our Troubleshooting and Upgrades page for more on remediation work.
We handle physical installation and cabling. Basic connectivity verification is included. Full network configuration and programming is typically done by your IT team or MSP — we make sure the physical infrastructure is ready for them to walk into.
It’s a simple document showing what’s installed in each rack unit — what hardware, what’s connected where, and how it’s labeled. It means that six months from now, when someone needs to trace a connection or add a device, they don’t have to guess. It’s one of the most practical things we hand over, and most contractors don’t bother.
Tell us about the space, what equipment you have, and your timeline. We’ll plan it properly and document the result.
